Loan Application

The processing time for your application typically ranges from 2 hours to 5 working days, contingent upon the receipt of all required documents and successful verification, which may involve contacting your office and emergency contact person. Please note that processing times may extend further based on the verification process.

To apply, candidates should be Malaysian citizens, aged 18 to 65, employed for a minimum of three (3) months, and earning a basic monthly salary of at least RM 1,200.00.

If your application is approved, you will receive a notification and can verify the loan status within the app.

We will notify you through the GM Loan app if your application is not successful.

The loan term can range from a minimum of 6 months to a maximum of five (5) years, equivalent to 60 months.

Loan Payment

We offer two payment channels: automatic debit from your bank account and online banking.

The auto-debit feature is designed to prevent missed repayments. In case your manual payment fails, the system will initiate auto-debit. If the initial auto-debit attempt is unsuccessful, a second attempt will be made after a period of four (4) to five (5) working days.

  1. New Loan: Your initial payment must be made manually. Afterward, subsequent payments will be automatically deducted once approved by your bank.

  2. Existing Loan: Auto-debit failure results from insufficient funds in your account.

No, there won’t be any government service tax applied to this personal loan facility.

The late payment fee amounts to eight percent (8%) annually (p.a.) on the outstanding balance, computed from the due date until the date of arrears settlement.

Indeed. The attestation fee, insurance fee, and stamping fee will be deducted from the loan amount before deposited into your personal saving account.

To proceed with early settlement, please provide one month’s advance notice and complete the early settlement form, available at our branches or via email request.

No, we exclusively receive early-settlement payments through online banking.

You can make your installment payment up to seven (7) working days before the due date. Nevertheless, GM Loan will still ask you to establish a direct debit account as a precaution in case you forget to make manual payments.
